My entry for epilogues "secret places" contest.

"Just imagine yourself walking down the pathway, exploring the ancient architecture, the surrounding forests. And as you stare out over the great river, you gaze upon a colony of drifters, a nomadic civilization, moored and settling in for the night."

Well certainly the least troublesome piece for me so far :nod:. I tried all sorts of narratives for this, involving people, miniature steam boats floating down stream. But alas, anything added only subtracted from what i have here. Thus leaving the landscape to sing for itself :P. heh..It's not perfect, but i am happy.

UPDATE oopps forgot to mention that the city, is small. It's a miniature civilization. There is an archway on the island that is an exact sized version of the one onland framing the tree. Just a little hint XD.

wow , absolutely beautiful , i liked the city and the ship , the sky is just amazing , the building on the left is just beautiful , and i liked the lamp or the light in it , the gate is amazing , the trees is simply great , and amazing texture on the wall , one great piece of art

I love the colours! It's so tranquil. One thing about the two *sides*, the right city side doesn't look far away enough compared to the size of the gothic structure on the left. Haha like I should be the one to say, my Princess Destiny pic had the scale thing screwed up too. =P

You know, one thing i forgot to mention, is that the city is actually ment to be a miniature..hang on i'll re word. There is an archway on the ship, it's meant to be the same size as the archway that frames the tree. can you see it?. *Goes back to explain*.
