May 21st: my apoligies again, this hasn't exactly been rejected on epilogue, but sure enough it hasn't been accepted either, The W.I.P forum had dried up so i went ahead and extrapolated were i thought the issue might be..# editors had seen it and passed it on for a second opinion :). Thats totally cool, obviously it could do with improvement!. This revision sees a little light show, eminating from the shamans' staff!.

Sorry Guys---still making some revisions, although this is it now :).

A gentle creature glides gracefully high above the clouds, its shape so vast its shadow turns day into night. A shaman performs a ritual chant, to commune with the dragon.

There you go then. My entry for epilogues "paint yourself a dragon" contest :P. Originally just a landscape that i created which was meant to be in a collaborative effort with Rochelle Green . Nothing eventuated, actually something did but i really wanted to paint me dragons on it, bad timing of a few key events kept it from being finished earlier, so i thought i'd use it and boy did i enjoy it . Half the hard work was already done :P. Just a matter of taking a couple of days to insert dragon and character.

Learnt heaps and had fun.....

Theft is rife again, so i am a lil apprehensive to post, I'll just have to be extra vigilant!...

Take care

Marley

edit: had to update, the pice was needing minor touch ups :D.

That is one awesome looking creature. He looks so vast but fragile at the same time. Excellent job on this one.

Time is the school in which we learn,
Time is the fire in which we burn.
A very interresting (and actual) interpretation of the shapes of a dragon. Strong composition. Delightful! I love the way you choose the stylistic unconventional (e.g. the plays with the perspective).

There just wondering if there's not a little too much haze over the dragon, considering its position in the perspective grid. Anyway, I could be wrong there.

Wonderful work!!
